I met Sean Stephenson at a National Speaker’s Association workshop that I attended a few months ago. The workshop was focused on how to increase your sales so I was really focused on this aspect of my business during those few days. Sean was a participant in the workshop (not a leader or speaker) but I started paying close attention to his statements whenever he shared because his examples and learning from his business were so impactful. One of the things he shared was that this video that he decided to make during a night of frustration, helped him get more exposure and business than appearing on Oprah. Sean’s story (his website linked) of overcoming impossible odds and his accomplishments (working for a US President, writing four books, and having a TV show) inspire me to thrive and realize that who I am is so much more important than any of my conditions. I hope they do for you too and also help you realize that some of those excuses holding you back are silly. As Sean says in the video, “life is meant to be enjoyed,” make it an intense and fun week!
